Story
Get to Know Us
Chris Charlton is the principle representative of the company. He worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for a multi-national electrical manufacturer for 10 years before starting his own business as a Safety Consultant in 2006.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
While in the manufacturing sector, he completed his Environmental Management Certificate program at the University of Calgary, developed an ISO 14000 Environmental Management System and became a Certified Internal Environmental Auditor.
CERTIFIED AUDITOR
In 2007, he completed his certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and began auditing for Energy Safety Canada and then for the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships.
EXPERIENCE
His health and safety experience included internal Safety Auditing, Disability Management, Hazard Assessments and Job Safety Analysis, Inspections, Incident Investigations, the development of Emergency Response procedures, Ergonomic Assessments, Physical Demands Analysis and was the Management Co-Chair of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
Since going into business for himself, Chris has gained industry experience and knowledge with companies involved in Oil and Gas Services, the Seismic Industry, Engineering Firms, Educational, Transportation and Warehousing Companies where he has had extensive experience in Health, Safety and Environmental Program Development.
