The Company’s WHMIS program states that special precautions are taken when manufacturing, using, handling, storing, and disposing of controlled products.

The Company needs to consider the requirements of Alberta OH & S Code, Part 4, Chemical Hazards, Biological Hazards and Harmful Substances and Part 20, Radiation Exposure. Where there is a potential for exposure to these hazards, a procedure or Code of Practice should be developed. At a minimum, biological hazards with respect to blood and bodily fluids should be addressed by including methods to control these hazards in the company’s current First Aid procedure.
